Drawing live on film as a police sketch artist
Appearing as a police sketch artist in a major TV series called The City and The City, I once more put my drawing ability under the spotlights.
Drawing the face of a dead person I was filmed adding the cuts and wounds that the police office was telling me about.
I asked if that was what she meant and the director yelled 'CUT!'. It was a wrap.
This time my beard and hair was enhanced with a quick blow dry.

The drawing I used on set was one that I had started and as the scene played out I added to the face the wounds and cuts.
We did the scene a few times and each time I had to rub out the drawing details that I had added during the filming and get it ready for the next take.
All good fun!
